Just finished Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier, its movie adaptation won the 2003 oscar. Reading The Hungry Tide by Amitav Ghosh right now and planning to start Q & A by Vikas Swarup once this is over. Now that you mentioned new books by both Grisham and Archer, the list has increased.
